Charter Phone/Cloud Phone or Not?

Is it worth it to go with a cloud phone solution? Depends on the client. If your company consists of a lot of remote users and/or are quite small (less than 2 extensions) then yes. If you have 3 or more extensions, then no. You can have a new on-premises system that will pay for itself within the first year and the following years you will receive a generous return.

Cloud solution with Charter. $39 per phone. Three phones, $117.00 plus taxes. That’s $1,404 per year, every year, after year. Year three, you’ve spent $4,212.

On-Premise phone system. Roughly $1,000 for 3 phone system. Single SIP line. $50 with up to 10 calls per SIP.  $1,600 first year. $600 for the year. Year three, you’ve spent $2,800. You’ve saved $1,412 over Charter and gotten a much better system, you can have conference calls with 10 callers for one.
