Grandstream Adds Two New Models to GWN Series of Wi-Fi Access Points

Boston, MA USA – Tuesday, June 23, 2020 – Grandstream, connecting the world since 2002 with award-winning unified communication solutions, today announced the release of two new additions to the GWN Series of Wi-Fi Access Points. The new GWN7605LR is a weatherproof, long-range Wi-Fi AP with dual-band 2×2:2 MU-MIMO technology and 250-meter range, ideal for indoor and outdoor long-range deployments. Also released was the GWN7615, an enterprise-grade Wi-Fi AP with dual-band 3×3:3 MU-MIMO technology and 175-meter range that is ideal for medium-to-high user density environments.

Like all of Grandstream’s GWN series of Wi-Fi Access Points, the GWN7615 and GWN7605LR can be setup and managed with GWN.Cloud and GWN Manager, Grandstream’s free cloud and on-premise Wi-Fi management platforms. Both APs also feature a controller embedded in their web user interface that allows them to manage other local GWN series APs. The GWN series is powered by market-leading technology and features support for advanced QoS, low-latency applications, real-time voice and video, mesh networks, captive portals, bank-grade security protection and more. They are the ideal access points for voice/video-over-Wi-Fi deployments and offer a seamless connection with Grandstream’s Wi-Fi-capable voice and video IP endpoints.

GWN7605LR
The GWN7605LR is a long-range, weatherproof Wave-2 Wi-Fi AP for extended-range indoor and outdoor deployments. It offers dual-band 2×2:2 MU-MIMO technology and a sophisticated antenna design for maximum network throughput and a coverage range of up to 250 meters. This long-range AP features IP66-certified weatherproof casing to allow it to be deployed outdoors where weather conditions are a concern. With support for 100+ clients and 1.27 GBps throughput, the GWN7605LR is ideal for low-to-medium user density scenarios. Notable GWN7605LR features include:

The GWN7615 is an enterprise-grade Wave-2 Wi-Fi AP ideal for medium to high user density environments. It offers dual-band 3×3:3 MU-MIMO technology and a sophisticated antenna design for maximum network throughput and 175-meter Wi-Fi coverage range. With support for, 200+ concurrent clients and 1.75 Gbps throughput, the GWN7615 can be used to create a scalable solution for busy settings such as office buildings, retail stores, hotels, residential complexes, warehouses and more. Notable GWN7615 features include:

• 1.75Gbps aggregate wireless throughput and 2x Gigabit wireline ports
